How to play Region Queens
Region Queens brings colored-region deduction to an original Gamehub board. Every color area, horizontal line and vertical line needs exactly one crown. Crowns may not occupy neighboring squares, including diagonally neighboring squares. A shared diagonal is allowed when the crowns are farther apart. Use the shape of the regions to eliminate choices before placing a crown. Generated boards have connected regions and are checked for a single solution.

Region Queens questions
Is Region Queens the same as LinkedIn Queens?
It is an independently made puzzle in the colored-region queens format. Gamehub supplies its own boards, code and visual design. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
How is it different from the classic N-Queens chess puzzle?
Classic N-Queens forbids any shared diagonal. Region Queens forbids touching crowns instead, and adds one crown per colored region. Two crowns can share a longer diagonal if they are not neighbors.
Can I play more than one Queens puzzle?
Yes. New puzzle creates another Gamehub board. These are separate from LinkedIn’s daily puzzles, and no LinkedIn account is used.
What does each color mean?
Each connected color area is a region that must contain exactly one crown. You still need one crown in each row and column.
Can crowns touch diagonally?
No. Crowns in diagonally neighboring squares touch and are not allowed.
