Project Sand by Josh Don is an interactive falling-sand sandbox. Paint different materials onto the canvas and watch gravity, heat, liquids, and other interactions shape your experiment. It has no traditional win condition.
How do you control Project Sand?
Choose an element, then click and drag to draw. Adjust pen size and simulation speed. Clear resets the canvas.
What should a beginner try?
Start with a container, then add sand and water. Change one material at a time to see which interaction causes each result.
