How to play Yacht
Yacht is a solo five-dice scorecard game. Roll, hold selected dice, then use the remaining rolls to improve a combination. Finish each turn by assigning the dice to one unused category, including number totals, straights and matching sets. A category can be used only once, even if you choose to score zero. Try to finish the whole card with a higher total.
Choose your difficulty
| Level | What changes |
|---|---|
| Easy | Up to four rolls per turn. |
| Medium | Up to three rolls per turn. |
| Hard | Up to two rolls per turn. |
Controls
Roll the dice, tap dice to hold or release them, then select an unused score category to end your turn. The scorecard shows the points available for the current roll.
A tip for your first round
Keep a flexible category available for an awkward roll. Before using a strong combination, compare the points it would earn in your remaining categories.
Play without installing anything
This version of Yacht plays in a modern browser. Follow the controls above and use a keyboard or the on-screen buttons where available. No account or payment is required. Any supported scores or progress are kept on this device, rather than synced to an account.
Yacht questions
Can I keep some dice between rolls?
Yes. Select dice to hold them, then roll only the others.
Can a category be used twice?
No. Every turn fills one unused category, including a zero if you cannot or do not want to score points there.
