The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt cheat codes and PC commands
The Witcher 3 has a developer console that is disabled by default. CD Projekt RED documents enabling it through general.ini. Use the small examples below only after backing up saves and confirming that the console opens in your installed PC build.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Close the game and back up bin/config/base/general.ini.
- Open that file in a plain-text editor.
- Add DBGConsoleOn=true on its own line and save.
- Launch the game, press ~ and submit one command with Enter.
Codes and effects

Version notes and help
Preserve punctuation and case
Parentheses belong to commands that take arguments, and item identifiers may also require quotes. A sentence copied from a walkthrough is not an executable expression. Begin with healme rather than spawning a large inventory, so you can confirm that console activation and input both work.
Debugging is not a story shortcut
Character swaps, forced teleports and bulk item grants can disrupt quest assumptions. This table excludes those operations. The REDkit instructions document the configuration method, not a guarantee that every command from an old list is suitable for every later patch, so maintain a clean save for continuing the story.
Common questions
Do I need to download a trainer?
No. This page describes the game’s own facilities. It does not require an external executable, a paid cheat subscription or changes to an online account.
How should I test these changes?
Keep a separate unmodified save, make one change at a time and check the result before continuing. Reversing a toggle does not necessarily reverse everything that happened while it was active.
