Theme Hospital cheat codes and how to use them
Theme Hospital activates its original hotkeys through the fax machine: click 24328 on the fax keypad and confirm with the green button. Do not type those digits as ordinary gameplay keys. CorsixTH handles this same fax number differently by opening its own cheat window.

Version notes and help
Why the fax keypad matters
Gameplay number keys can change simulation speed in CorsixTH, and typing digits while merely looking at the hospital is not the same as clicking the displayed fax buttons. Enter the sequence in the fax interface before trying a shortcut.
Original engine versus CorsixTH
The CorsixTH maintainer guide documents a button-based cheat window for 24328. Its research, money and event controls are not evidence that every old keyboard combination behaves identically. Use the correct instructions for the engine you launched.
Time skips can hide the problem
Finishing a month or year moves the simulation forward, rather than simply granting money. Save before using these shortcuts if an inspection, emergency or budget deadline matters. F11 and F12 change the level outcome immediately, so keep them separate from ordinary cash testing.
Common questions
How much money does Shift+C add?
Lists disagree. Check your balance after one press rather than assuming a fixed amount for every build.
Why did 24328 open a window?
That is the documented CorsixTH behavior, not the original hotkey-only flow.
