The Sims 4 cheat codes and PC commands
The Sims 4 has a built-in cheat console. Money and building commands are different tools: motherlode adds money, while bb.moveobjects relaxes object-placement limits. You do not need an external trainer to use either.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. The Sims 4 is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Load a household and press Ctrl+Shift+C.
- Enter a listed command and press Enter.
- For testing interactions, first enter testingcheats true.
- Close the console with the same shortcut and check the household or lot.

Version notes and help
Add funds versus set funds
A money grant increases existing funds; a set-money command replaces the balance. To set an exact balance, EA documents enabling testingcheats true and using Money followed by the desired number. Test on a separate household if you are experimenting with storytelling rather than ordinary progression.
Objects still need usable space
Overlapping furniture may look attractive but can block Sims’ routing. After using free placement, test doors, beds, chairs and interactive surfaces in Live mode. Undo the layout if Sims cannot reach them; having enough money does not override the space an animation needs.
Common questions
Do I need to download a trainer?
No. This page describes the game’s own facilities. It does not require an external executable, a paid cheat subscription or changes to an online account.
How should I test these changes?
Keep a separate unmodified save, make one change at a time and check the result before continuing. Reversing a toggle does not necessarily reverse everything that happened while it was active.
