The Sims 3 cheat codes and PC commands
The Sims 3 accepts money and placement cheats through Ctrl+Shift+C. Use the basic funds commands before reaching for testing features: they solve a cash shortage without changing needs, relationships or a Sim’s development.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. The Sims 3 is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Open the household you want to change.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+C to display the console.
- Type a command below and press Enter.
- Check the balance or placement result, then close the console.

Version notes and help
Testing features are a separate switch
The Sims 3 uses testingcheatsenabled true for testing interactions; this differs from The Sims 4’s wording. Enable it only when an interaction specifically requires it. Copying a command from a different Sims title is a common reason an otherwise genuine cheat appears not to work.
Avoid moving live Sims carelessly
Free object movement can relocate or remove things that normal Buy mode protects. Use it mainly to arrange a decorative test lot and check routing afterwards. If a Sim becomes stuck, preserve the old save and use the game-specific reset procedure rather than repeatedly deleting and replacing live characters.
Common questions
Do I need to download a trainer?
No. This page describes the game’s own facilities. It does not require an external executable, a paid cheat subscription or changes to an online account.
How should I test these changes?
Keep a separate unmodified save, make one change at a time and check the result before continuing. Reversing a toggle does not necessarily reverse everything that happened while it was active.
