The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim cheat codes and PC commands
Skyrim’s PC console can toggle god mode, move through collision and add specific items. Commands aimed at the player begin with player.; clicking an object changes the target of commands that do not include that prefix.

Setup and activation
- Create a manual save separate from your continuing campaign.
- Press the PC console key, usually ~ or the physical key left of 1.
- Type one command and submit with Enter.
- Close the console, inspect the result and reload your untouched save if needed.

Version notes and help
Gold is not a level-up
Adding gold changes inventory rather than skill experience. Use a modest test amount and verify the balance instead of entering an extreme number. Large values can exceed a field’s supported range, while unwanted character-level changes can affect the wider game balance.
Use collision to get unstuck carefully
Turn collision off only long enough to move onto solid ground, then toggle it back. A cinematic camera is a separate facility and does not move the character in the same way. Avoid quest-stage or mass-completion commands when a normal reload or a short movement fix will solve the problem.
Common questions
Do I need to download a trainer?
No. This page describes the game’s own facilities. It does not require an external executable, a paid cheat subscription or changes to an online account.
How should I test these changes?
Keep a separate unmodified save, make one change at a time and check the result before continuing. Reversing a toggle does not necessarily reverse everything that happened while it was active.
