RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 cheat codes and how to use them
RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 retains guest-name easter eggs from its predecessor and adds a few of its own. Rename a visitor through the guest window to activate one. An OpenRCT2 cheat toolbar is a separate engine feature, not an original guest name.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Create a separate park save.
- Click a visitor and open the rename/name-tag control.
- Type the exact guest name.
- Watch the selected visitor for the relevant behavior.

Version notes and help
Some effects are deliberately unhelpful
Katie Rodger and Donald Macrae are easter eggs, not improvements to your park. Test them on a copied save and a visitor you can find again. Do not apply every name simply because a guide calls them cheats.
No invented money name
This table does not promise unlimited funds or automatic scenario completion. Many search results blend RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 with the first two games. Match the title before assuming that a later game’s money name exists here.
Original game and OpenRCT2
OpenRCT2 offers additional management and debugging features through its own interface. A screenshot of that menu does not establish that original RCT2 contains a hidden equivalent. This guide keeps the original guest-renaming method separate.
Observe the specific visitor
Select a single guest, rename them and keep their window open while testing. Broad park problems such as crowding or poor navigation still require changes to the park; one guest’s new name does not redesign a path network.

Can I rename multiple guests identically?
Original RCT2 prevents exact duplicate names; capitalization differences are handled separately.
