Rules files are not cheat phrases
A rules.ini change alters unit and building behavior outside the ordinary game. It can affect far more than the one resource you meant to adjust. A forum suggestion to modify those values should not be represented as a safe, reversible word typed into the mission.
Console confusion
The PlayStation releases have their own interface and cheat procedures. These cannot be translated into PC codes by substituting keyboard letters for controller buttons. Check the platform label on any search result before treating its instructions as relevant.
Better troubleshooting for a hard map
Before replaying, identify the point at which your defense collapses. Keep a save just before the attack, then try changing one decision: timing, target selection or spending. Comparing two attempts from the same save is more useful than restarting from the opening without knowing what changed.
Original versus remaster mods
