Portal Cheat Codes: Original PC single-player
Portal’s PC console lets you fly through a chamber or experiment with portal placement. Enable cheats only in a separate session: a shortcut can bypass the trigger that completes a puzzle or records a challenge.

Version notes and help
A portal shortcut is not a solved chamber
Flying to an exit can leave buttons, doors or story events in an unexpected state. For a clean solution, restore your save and repeat the chamber using its intended surfaces and objects. The command session is best treated as experimentation.
Original Portal versus Portal 2
The games share several Source commands but their puzzle entities differ. A cube or portal-device command from the first game is not automatically the right spelling for the sequel. This table deliberately labels the original PC game.
Visible confirmation
Close the console and check the chamber before combining several commands whose effects might overlap.
Common questions
Can I earn achievements with cheats active?
Do not rely on that. Keep achievement attempts in a normal session restored from an untouched save.
How do I stop flying?
Enter noclip again while positioned over clear floor inside the chamber, then close the console.
