Heroes of Might and Magic IV cheat codes and how to use them
Heroes IV accepts its own mythology-themed nwc commands through the message line. Resource help, movement and spell knowledge are separate effects, so use the smallest change you need instead of immediately ending a scenario.

Version notes and help
Spells and skills are different
A spell-grant command does not mean every untrained hero becomes an expert in every school. The documented Isis effect is constrained by magic skills. Check the selected hero’s abilities before treating a missing spell as a failed code.
Movement versus victory
Hermes is useful when you want to revisit the map yourself. Valhalla ends the objective instead, so avoid it if you still want to explore. Save before experimenting and keep that save under a new name rather than overwriting a campaign checkpoint.
Do not reuse Heroes III phrases
Commands such as nwctheconstruct belong to another game. Heroes IV has its own names, and selecting an army rather than the intended hero can make the effect less obvious. Enter complete phrases in the message line rather than typing over a town dialog.
Common questions
How do I reveal the map?
Enter nwcPrometheus through Tab and Enter.
Is the beta cheat menu included?
Do not rely on nwcImAGod: the wiki identifies that menu as beta-only.
