Heroes of Might and Magic III cheat codes and how to use them
Heroes III uses different code families for its original releases. Complete normally uses the Shadow of Death family even when you play an older campaign. Press Tab, enter the correct phrase and press Enter; an Erathia code is not interchangeable with a Shadow of Death code.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. Heroes of Might and Magic III is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Identify the executable or expansion you launched.
- Create a separate single-player save.
- Select the hero when changing hero statistics.
- Press Tab, type the complete code, then press Enter.

Version notes and help
Complete versus HD Edition
The retail HD Edition is based on Restoration of Erathia. The community HD Mod is a different product and must not be confused with that retail edition. Check the actual game package before deciding which column of codes applies.
Test a harmless change first
Map reveal is a clearer compatibility test than instant victory. If nothing happens, check the expansion family before repeatedly typing different codes. Keep an untouched save for a normal campaign result; cheats can mark the final score.
Expansion names describe the engine too
Selecting an Erathia campaign inside Complete does not necessarily switch the running program back to the old Erathia engine. Use the codes for the executable, not simply the title printed on the campaign selection screen.

Why does nwcshrubbery fail in Complete?
Use nwctheconstruct: Complete generally runs the Shadow of Death code family.
Are the multiplayer rules the same?
This guide is for private single-player saves. Do not use cheats in competitive games.
