Heroes of Might and Magic II cheat codes and how to use them
The original Heroes II accepts number codes directly on the adventure map. Select a hero and type 32167 for five Black Dragons, or type 8675309 to reveal the world. These are original-game codes, not universal commands for every modern replacement engine.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. Heroes of Might and Magic II is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Save the scenario in a separate slot.
- Return to the adventure map and select the hero who should receive creatures.
- Type the digits using the number row, without opening a chat box.
- Check the army or map before entering another code.

Version notes and help
Windows debugger is a different feature
The original Windows executable can be launched with /NWC appended after Heroes2W.exe. This exposes the Debug menu in its window menu bar. It is a launch parameter, not a phrase typed on the map, and the procedure is specifically for the old Windows release rather than DOS.
Why a number code may do nothing
Try the top-row digits and make sure no town, dialog or text field has focus. For dragons, select the intended hero and leave an empty troop slot. Keep a clean save: using these codes can label the result as a cheater in the score table.
Using fheroes2
fheroes2 is a separate reimplementation. Do not assume an original Windows command-line switch or number cheat works there. Cheat-enabled forks exist, which is why advice written for a fork can disagree with a standard installation.
Common questions
Do I press Tab first?
No. These original Heroes II number codes are typed directly during play.
Can I undo the scenario-win code?
Reload the separate save made before entering 911; it advances the scenario immediately.
