2048: a quick playing guide
2048 is a single-player number puzzle by Gabriele Cirulli. Slide the board to combine matching tiles. Each successful move can add a new tile, so leave yourself space and build toward the 2048 tile.
How do you control 2048?
Arrow keys on a keyboard. Swipe on a touchscreen. Use New Game to start again.
What should a beginner try?
Keep your largest tile in a corner. Try to keep the next-largest tiles beside it, and avoid filling every empty space.
