GTA San Andreas cheat codes and PC commands
The original PC San Andreas accepts keyboard cheat strings during active gameplay, without a console or phone. The familiar HESOYAM code bundles three benefits; choose a weapon code separately if equipment is what you need.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. GTA San Andreas is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Make a save in a separate slot before experimenting.
- Stand in a safe area during normal gameplay, outside menus.
- Type the full keyboard string continuously.
- Look for the on-screen activation message and inspect the result.

Version notes and help
Original versus remastered
This reference targets the original PC game. Remasters, mobile ports and controller releases have different input methods and sometimes a different supported selection. Do not assume a PlayStation button sequence or a mobile keyboard workaround is equivalent to this version.
Progression precautions
San Andreas tracks cheat use and some effects can interfere with scripted behaviour. Keep the original story save separate. Type only the code you intend to use: ordinary game controls still respond while you type, so traffic, water and combat are poor places to enter long strings.
Common questions
Do I need to download a trainer?
No. This page describes the game’s own facilities. It does not require an external executable, a paid cheat subscription or changes to an online account.
How should I test these changes?
Keep a separate unmodified save, make one change at a time and check the result before continuing. Reversing a toggle does not necessarily reverse everything that happened while it was active.
