Grand Theft Auto V cheat codes and PC commands
GTA V includes typed cheats for story mode. Open its PC command entry and use the short words below. These are not GTA Online commands, and there is no built-in money code in this list.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. Grand Theft Auto V is not available to play on Gamehub.
Setup and activation
- Load story mode and make a normal manual save.
- Press the tilde key (~) to open the PC cheat entry.
- Type one code, press Enter and wait for its confirmation.
- Return to your clean save when you want to continue normal progress.

Version notes and help
Where these codes work
Story mode is the intended setting. A chase, active mission or scripted sequence can prevent certain effects. Use a quiet free-roam area when testing. A weapon grant and a health refill solve different problems; neither completes a mission or advances its objectives for you.
Save and achievement limits
Cheat use affects achievement eligibility during the session. A clean reload is the practical way to return to ordinary play. Avoid treating the five-minute invincibility timer as a permanent setting: it expires, and it is not protection for every vehicle or scripted event.
Common questions
Do I need to download a trainer?
No. This page describes the game’s own facilities. It does not require an external executable, a paid cheat subscription or changes to an online account.
How should I test these changes?
Keep a separate unmodified save, make one change at a time and check the result before continuing. Reversing a toggle does not necessarily reverse everything that happened while it was active.
