Region Queens
One queen in every row, column and colored region. Queens must never touch—even at a corner. Longer diagonals are allowed.
How to play
Click or tap a square to place a queen. Tap it again to remove it. Turn on Mark × to rule out empty squares; these pencil marks do not affect whether a solution is valid.
You need exactly one queen in every row, column and numbered color region. Queens may share a long diagonal, but they cannot sit in neighboring squares, including diagonally neighboring squares. All squares within a region connect along their edges.
Hints add one queen while preserving yours. If your placements conflict or cannot lead to a solution, remove a queen before asking again. A queen with a small dot is a fixed clue. Reset keeps fixed clues. Undo reverses your previous action. Changing difficulty starts a new puzzle.
Use Tab to enter the board, arrows to move between squares, and Enter or Space to place a queen or mark. Your puzzle is saved on this device. Every generated puzzle is checked for exactly one solution.
