Dungeon Keeper cheat codes and how to use them

Dungeon Keeper’s original retail version should not be given KeeperFX’s modern cheat-menu instructions. Verified retail extras are limited, while many widely circulated phrases are explicitly unverified. If you want KeeperFX development commands, identify that engine before following its own documentation.

Use cheats only in a single-player game or an authorized private session. Keep an untouched save before changing a game state. This is an independent text guide. Dungeon Keeper is not available to play on Gamehub.

Setup and activation

  1. Identify whether you launched original Dungeon Keeper or KeeperFX.
  2. Keep a clean dungeon save.
  3. For the original retail game, do not assume there is a money-console activation.

Version notes and help

Why no money-code table appears here

The community’s verified-code reference labels several familiar retail claims, including please give all, as unverified. This guide does not turn a repeated rumor into a working code. It also avoids presenting prototype-only menus as features of the final shipped game.

KeeperFX has its own command system

KeeperFX documentation explains that Return opens its chat console and commands start with an exclamation mark. Many require cheat mode. These are features of the fan-maintained engine, not hidden phrases guaranteed to work in the 1997 executable.

Original files are still required

KeeperFX is an extensive remake/mod that requires original game data from a legal copy. It changes and expands numerous files, so the correct reference is the KeeperFX documentation for that installed version. A screenshot of its menu cannot establish that the same menu exists in original Dungeon Keeper.

Practice without a code

Save before the recurring problem, then compare two approaches from that checkpoint. Separate a failed economy from a lost battle or an unhappy creature. A repeatable save lets you test one choice without replacing the executable or following an unsupported money cheat.

Common questions

Does please give all work in retail Dungeon Keeper?

The specialist wiki treats it as unverified, so it is not recommended here.

Why does a KeeperFX command fail in my copy?

The original retail game and KeeperFX are different executables with different features.
