Age of Mythology cheat codes and how to use them
The original Age of Mythology uses capitalized chat phrases. Enter a code in uppercase after pressing Enter, then submit it with Enter again. Retold has changed some effects and letter-case behavior, so this list explicitly covers the original game.

Version notes and help
Original versus Retold
Do not expect modern commands such as STONKS to exist in the original executable. Original code entry is case-sensitive; Retold removed that requirement. Expansion-specific units are also separate from the base-game list.
God-power rules differ by release
DIVINE INTERVENTION renews powers in the original game, while The Titans handles additional uses differently. Check which expansion is running before interpreting a power counter. A spell command is not an ordinary technology upgrade.
Use a small test first
A food or gold top-up is an obvious way to verify entry without ending the mission. THRILL OF VICTORY jumps straight to a win, so save before using it if you want to return to unfinished objectives. The demo does not support the full cheat list.
Common questions
Why is a lowercase code ignored?
Use uppercase letters in the original release.
Where does the hippo appear?
The cheat unit is created at your Town Center, not at the current camera location.
